Vic: New register of lobbyists introduced in Victoria
A register of lobbyists and new code of conduct have been introduced in Victoria to
strengthen transparency.
Professional lobbyists will be required to register every year .. and must include
any criminal history.
Anyone unregistered will be barred from lobbying the Victorian government.
Under the code .. lobbyists must disclose their interests and clients from their first
contact with government.
